Georgia spent all her school holidays in a small coastal town called Selsey, endless summers filled with sailing and raft races punctuated by occasional crown making on a rainy day. Today when in Selsey, Georgia often runs around the end of the Bill and on a clear day can see The Isle of Wight rising out of the sea. Once a year the sea is filled with bright and varied sails for the ‘Round The Island’ race, it is this race which forms the basis for this colourful screen print’s inspiration.
